Partnership

1 Corinthians 1: 1-9 v 9:” God will do this, for he is faithful to do what He says, and He has invited you into partnership with His son, Jesus Christ our Lord.”

This letter is from Paul, chosen by the will of God to be an apostle of Christ Jesus and from our brother Sosthenes. May God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ give you grace and peace. Through Him (Christ Jesus) God has enriched your church in every way- with all of your eloquent words and all of your knowledge. Now you have every spiritual gift that you need. He will keep you strong. God will do this, for he is faithful to do what He says, and He has invited you into partnership with His son, Jesus Christ our Lord.

Paul had a friend he travelled with. Chosen by God. In our lives God choses certain people to travel with us. They usually compliment what we do to enrich our lives with all that we do. You have all the gifts that you need. As you partner with God to do His work. It reminds me of a line from Star Trek, “to boldly go where no man has gone before!” We might not have all the answers, or all the right words but we are also partnered with Christ Jesus who will be our help along the way, and that’s a promise. Be thankful for the people God has partnered you with and for His son Christ Jesus!

Prayer: Heavenly Father, we thank you for the people who you have invited to partner with on this journey of life who help to deepen our faith. And for the promise that Christ Jesus is also a part of all we do. Amen.
