Ephesians 5: 8-14 v 8b-9 “So live as people of the light! For this light within you produces only what is good and right and true.”
For once you were full of darkness, but now you have light from the Lord. So live as people of the light! For this light within you produces only what is good and right and true. Carefully determine what pleases the Lord. This is why it is said, “Awake, O sleeper, rise up from the dead, and Christ will give you light.”
Sometimes I wake up and my head is all fuzzy; it takes a while for me to “get going” in the morning. Awake, O sleeper, rise up from the dead. One of the first things I do though is to read a daily devotional and write this blog. It clears my head, gives me joy and sets me up to live like people of the light! I still make mistakes and sometimes things don’t turn out the way I thought they should, but sometimes I am surprised that this light within you produces only what is good and right and true!
