Speak Out!

Ezekiel 37: 1-14v 7 “So I spoke this message, just as He told me.”

The Lord took hold of me, and I was carried away by the Spirit of the Lord to a valley filled with bones. So I spoke this message, just as He told me. Then as I watched muscles and flesh formed over the bones. So I spoke the message just as He commanded me, and breath came into their bodies. When this happens O my people you will know that I am the Lord. Yes, the Lord has spoken!

I have written about this passage before but just as old bones can be made into new living people, an army in fact, this same story can speak of different things in this time and place. When life is hard, down to bare bones, God is there speaking life back into us all, to form an army to do His work. All we have to do is allow ourselves to be changed by His word, to speak his words, to follow His commands and amazing things will happen. Be transported by the Spirit, speak out and follow His commands today and every day.

Prayer: Thank you Almighty God for being with us, and for your amazing power to help all those who need your wisdom today. Help us speak out in your name. Amen.
