Psalm 130 v 2” Hear my cry, O Lord. Pay attention to my prayer.”
Hear my cry, O Lord. Pay attention to my prayer. But you offer forgiveness, that we might learn to fear you. I have put my hope in His word. With the Lord there is unfailing love. His redemption overflows.
Turkey vultures can be seen flying around high in the sky on many days. Yesterday there were three turkey vultures on the road outside our house because a car had run over and killed a rabbit. However, enough cars were coming down the road that they did not have time to safely eat so they flew away. I went out and put the dead rabbit on our lawn away from the road, and not long after some crows came down and began to eat it. A wonder of nature? A sign that God does come close and does not remain flying high in the sky looking down on us? He loves us and forgives us.

Prayer: Heavenly Father, we thank you for paying attention to our prayers. For guiding our thoughts to your purpose and our lives to your service. Amen.
