God calls us to be holy but doesn’t expect us to do it on our own strength. He gives us the Holy Spirit to make our mind and heart clean.
Spring is here and when I was growing up it meant a frenzy of cleaning. Today as a family clean out a cupboard, a toy box, or your garden. If you find broken things throw them away, things you no longer need donate them to others and keep fewer items that you can easily keep clean and tidy. As you do this spring-cleaning think about the things that are important to you, clean your mind and your heart of broken things, give away love to others, and keep God in your heart.
