Hebrews 10: 16-25 v 16 “This is the new covenant I will make with my people on that day, says the Lord: I will put my laws in their hearts, and I will write them on their minds.”
The He said, “I will never again remember their sins and lawless deeds.” And when sins have been forgiven there is no need to offer any more sacrifices. By His death Jesus opened a new and life giving way through the curtain into the Most Holy Place. Let us think of ways to motivate one another to acts of love and good works. Let us not neglect our meeting together.
Holy week is about actions and change. And from these actions a new covenant has been made. The disciples during that first Easter story would have been sad, dismayed, and puzzled. Not understanding why Jesus was dead. But we know the end of the story and the results mentioned here of a new covenant. Hope is just around the corner for us all. A time when we no longer need to offer sacrifices.

Pray quietly today thankful for the forgiveness of your sins.
Prayer: Heavenly Father we ask that you forgive us our sins and direct us to the light of Jesus and the good works to be done in His name. Amen.
