Christmas Outreach Project

This holiday season we are supporting the YWCA Cambridge’s Women’s Emergency Homeless Shelter. The YWCA is on a mission to address women’s homelessness in Cambridge, Ontario. To that end, they have worked over the last number of years to establish the first women’s emergency homeless shelter in Cambridge. In 2024, Grace Bible Church came forward and offered the lower level of their church for the YWCA to operate a temporary shelter while they continue to search for a permanent location.

CrossWalk will be collecting any items you have on Monday, December 8 at the Christmas Social at Bute Street meeting room.

We kindly ask that all donated items be new or gently used and freshly laundered, as we aim to provide items that uphold dignity for the individuals and families we serve.

There is also a donation program called Festive Futures Festive Futures Campaign

“Festive Futures” campaign supports women from our Small Steps to Success program and Shelter residents. It would be a wonderful way to support folks in need – we are looking for gift cards, robes, slippers and personal care items for residents and program participants this holiday season in all sizes.
