Gods Voice

  Psalm 29 v 4 “The voice of the Lord is powerful; the voice of the Lord is majestic.”

Worship the Lord in the splendor of His holiness. The voice of the lord echoes above the sea. The voice of the Lord is powerful; the voice of the Lord is majestic. “The voice of the Lord splits the mighty cedars. The voice of the Lord strikes with bolts of lightning, makes the barren wilderness quake, twists mighty oaks, and strips the forest bare. The Lord gives His people strength. The Lord blesses them with peace.

Voices are all around us through modern technology of radio, television, the internet. Accessible on many devices from personal phones, iPad, tablets, desktop computers, laptops. There is even an increasing number of AI’s, artificial voices interacting with us on a regular basis. Think about the last time you called a business and did not have a recorded voice answer the call? However, this is impacting our ability to communicate with others face to face. Is the same true when listening for the voice of God?

Whether we worship online, or in person are we taking the time to listen to the powerful voice of God?  Does the voice of God break through your worries and anxieties of the day splitting them in pieces?  Are practical concerns and solutions for yourself and your family highlighted by moments of clarity like a lightning strike? Are you made stronger by listening to the voice of God? If so then He will bless you with peace.

Prayer: Holy God help me to listen to your voice today. Give me strength to follow where you lead and the courage to shout “Glory!” Amen.
