Mark 5: 35-41v36 Jesus overheard or ignored them and said to Jairus, “Don’t be afraid. Just have faith.”
Whilst Jesus was still speaking to the woman, he had cured from a bleeding disorder messengers arrived telling Jairus his daughter was dead and not to bother the Teacher. Jesus overheard or ignored them and said to Jairus, “Don’t be afraid. Just have faith. “Then Jesus stopped the crowd and wouldn’t let anyone go with Him except three of his disciples. He told the people when he arrived at the house that the child is only sleeping. They laughed at Him as they were weeping and crying because she was dead. Jesus made all the people leave and took the mother and father and the disciples into the room. He said to her “Talitha koum” which means “Little girl get up!”
Jesus ignored the people who put limits on His power. They thought He might be able to cure the girl of an illness but not help when she was dead. He responded to the father, have faith! Having left the crowd both on the street and in the house, He simply told the girl to get up.

Our lives too can be crowded by others, and we can be overwhelmed by the changes that are inevitable, caused by life as we age. Hear Jesus’s words. Have faith. He ignored the crowd, told them to leave and performed a second miracle that day. Let’s not limit Jesus’s power in our lives, have faith that He will be there for us as we do His will.
Prayer: Heavenly Father who can make all things well. Even in our small groups good things can happen as we have faith in your almighty power. Amen.
AMEN! AMEN! AMEN!
What a beautiful vital message to not limit Jesus in us and to not limit ourselves by discerning what others say about us and to us….
with Him ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE.
Thank you
