Psalm 23 v 5b: “You honor me by anointing my head with oil. My cup overflows with blessings.”
The lord is my Shepherd; I have all that I need. He renews my strength. Your rod and your staff protect and comfort me. You honor me by anointing my head with oil. My cup overflows with blessings. I will live in the house of the Lord forever.
I have had to take things a little slowly this past week. Reading one of my favorite psalms today always reassures me that whatever in going on in my life, God is there with me. Taking time to nurture my body has allowed me to lean on others for support, protecting and comforting me just as my God does. Having faith makes me realize I have all that I need. With God, family and friends my cup overflows. And at the end I will live in the house of the Lord forever! Praise God!
Prayer: Heavenly Father thank you for the many blessings that comfort us. For a cup overflowing! Help others today to realize you are all we need. Amen.
