Justice and Truth

Psalm 96: v 3 “Publish his glorious deeds among the nations. Tell everyone about the amazing things he does.”

Sing a new song to the Lord! Each day proclaim the good news that he saves. Publish his glorious deeds among the nations. Tell everyone about the amazing things he does. Honor and majesty surround him; strength and beauty fill his sanctuary. Give to the Lord the glory He deserves. Let the heavens be glad and the earth rejoice. He will judge the world with justice, and the nations with His truth.

Two things have happened this new year. I have been extremely sick, not deadly but it certainly got me worried, (along with lots of other people) and I am now feeling better- Thanks be to God! And the small mission project I was involved in in Sierra Leone some five years ago that had three staff, now has nine staff, a school building and a bakery. When I was there, they were trying to license a scooter for use by the staff. It took over six months to get the paperwork in order so to purchase land, build not one but two buildings in this time is certainly only possible with our amazing God on side! This small project had government officials at the opening ceremonies not only from Sierra Leone but from Germany too as an example of collaborative international humanitarian work. Yes our current political position is uncertain, the world is changing, but sing a new song. Give to the Lord the glory He deserves. His justice and truth will triumph.

Prayer: Heavenly God we thank you for the power to heal, the incentive to support those that have less, and the knowledge that your justice and truth will triumph in our world. Amen
