Beautiful Feet

Romans 10: 9-17 v 15 b “That is why the scriptures say, “How beautiful are the feet of messengers who bring Good News!”

For it is by believing in your heart that you are made right with God, and it is by openly declaring your faith that you are saved. Jew and Gentile are the same in this respect. For ‘Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.” How can they believe in Him if they have never heard about him? How can they hear About Him unless someone tells them?  That is why the scriptures say, “How beautiful are the feet of messengers who bring Good News!” So faith comes from hearing, that is, hearing the Good News about Christ.

My mom had bunions on her feet, and I see one developing on my foot too. Fancy high heels are no longer comfortable to wear, and I find myself forced to wear “sensible shoes”, low heals with lots of support. God gives us today this great picture of beautiful feet, messengers who bring Good News. Whatever our background, Jew or Gentile, we can all contribute to sharing the Good News about Christ. Use your beautiful feet , whether in high heels or low sensible shoes to tell others about Christ today. It will be the best news they have heard all day!

Prayer: Heavenly Father help us to use our beautiful feet to tell others about Christ today. Amen.
