Rev 7: 9-17 v 10 “And they were shouting with a great roar; “Salvation comes from our God who sits on the throne, and from the lamb!”
After this I saw a vast crowd, too great to count, from every tribe and people and language, standing in front of the throne and before the lamb. They were clothed in white robes. And they were shouting with a great roar; “Salvation comes from our God who sits on the throne, and from the lamb!” And all the angels were standing around the throne. I was asked “who are these that are clothed in white?” And I said “Sir, you are the one who knows.” Then he said to me” These are the ones who died in the great tribulation. They serve Him day and night. And He gives them shelter; they will never be hungry or thirsty again. He will lead them to life- giving water. And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes.”
When I am praising God whilst listening to a hymn on my computer, in a small gathering or a large celebratory church service, it pales in comparison to the great roar I imagine is awaiting in our life with God. Whether the great tribulation is the time everyone has on earth and the choices they make to serve God or a more significant end of time era yet to come, the result is the same. He meets our needs on this earth, but we can look forward to a time when He wipes away all our tears! When we will never be thirsty or hungry again.
Lets practice some more and create a roar today as we praise God!
