Worthy God!

Revelation 4: 1-11v 3 “And instantly I was in the Spirit, and I saw a throne in heaven and someone sitting on it.”

Then as I looked, I saw a door standing open in heaven, and the same voice I heard before spoke to me like a trumpet blast. The voice said come up here. And instantly I was in the Spirit, and I saw a throne in heaven and someone sitting on it. Twenty-four thrones surrounded Him, with twenty-four elders all dressed in white with gold crowns. From the throne came flashes of lightning and the rumble of thunder. And in front of the throne were seven torches with burning flames. Four living beings were around the throne, one like a lion, one an Ox, the third a human face, the fourth like an eagle in flight. They said “Holy, holy, holy is the Lord God almighty. The elders said, “You are worthy, O lord our God, to receive glory and honor and power.”

We don’t know what today will bring, we don’t know what tomorrow will be like either, but as a believer in God the Father, Jesus Christ the son and the Holy Spirit, they are worthy of our praise. We live in the hope that we can worship them for eternity in heaven. This week the Lord is speaking loudly, today like a trumpet blast. Other creatures were seen in heaven worshipping God surrounded by His lightening and the thunder that goes with it. They praised God saying “Holy, holy, holy is the Lord God almighty.” Others responded,” You are worthy, O lord our God, to receive glory and honor and power.” As we all come closer each day to the open door of heaven let us give praise to the God who is worthy. Let the lightning and thunder that is our God drown out all the other worries in your head and take time now to enjoy this trumpet praise song. God is worthy. Amen.
