Why?

Psalm 2 v 1 “Why are the nations so angry? Why do they waste their time with futile plans?”

“Let us break their chains,” they cry, “and free ourselves from slavery to God.”  Now then you Kings, act wisely! Serve the Lord with reverent fear and rejoice with trembling. But what joy for all who take refuge in Him!

There are many different opinions on the best way to live in this world. Because of where we were born or choose to live there are different rules made by those in charge. World leaders today seem to have very different plans that are troubling to many. Why are the nations so angry? Why do governments not see the need to protect our resources and the earth? Why do we protest our need for a power grounded in love? Act wisely and serve the Lord! What joy for all who take refuge in Him!

Prayer: Almighty God whose love has no limits we thank you for answering our why questions with patience. To trust that love heals and joy will return. Amen.
