Psalm 96 v 11 “Let the heavens rejoice and the earth be glad.” v 13 “because He is coming”.
Many Churches have decided to provide online services for today due to the real fear of infecting someone they care about with something that could kill them. So gather around your computer, your phone, your TV starting with these words from the United Church of Canada advent unwrapped series:
When life is messy and not going well,
remember that God is with you and come to worship.
When people are blaming you for something you haven’t done,
remember that God is with you and come spend time in God’s community.
When you step in muck or hit your thumb with a hammer,
take a deep breath and remember that God is with you.
Come find comfort today in this gathering of God’s people online.
Know that God is with us. That’s why we are here to worship.
A community of faith is waiting for you to join them.

Then if you are out for a walk in Ayr head to the CrossWalk tree in the park downtown and take a star from the tree to know that you are part of a community of faith, you are not alone. God is with you now and always.
