2 Corinthians 3: 12-4:2 v 17 “ For the Lord is the Spirit, and wherever the Spirit of the Lord is , there is freedom.”
In this passage the difference between believing in Christ and the Holy Spirit rather than just the teachings of Moses and the other Old Testament prophets, leads us all on a confident and bold journey. Lead by the Holy Spirit into freedom from the past and made closer to the glorious image of Christ. This is done by telling the truth and being honest rather than tricking anyone or distorting the word of God.
For me freedom was all about getting on a plane by myself and going away. For the time in the airport and the time on the plane there were no worries about looking after anyone else but myself. With the introduction of technology to be able to be plugged in to a device reading a book or playing tunes cut oneself off even more from those around me. Freedom to just be, in the moment and away from the troubles of everyday life that I was leaving and to reenergize me for the challenges that await on arrival. With two years of staying home, I have found a different road to freedom. Delving into the bible, and getting acquainted with God, Christ and the Holy spirit has given me a new energy to find peace with myself and those around me. It hasn’t meant that everything has been fine. But it has meant that I am more honest and try and tell the truth from my side of life. When you pray and ask the Lord to open your eyes to the importance of His words in the bible amazing things happen.

Prayer: Loving Father open our eyes today to the wonder of your word. Find freedom in understanding more about you and the leading of the Holy Spirit. Amen
