Philippians 3:17-4:1.v “ But we are citizens of heaven where the Lord Jesus Christ lives. And we are eagerly waiting for him to return as our savior.”
Paul is concluding this letter to the Philippians by asking them to “pattern your lives after mine.” To think of heaven rather than earthly matters. To stay “true to the Lord”. This group of believers are the “joy and the crown Paul receives for his work.”

I have been part of many different congregations as I followed my calling as a healthcare worker to first leave my home to study, to travel the world for experiences beyond imagining learning and growing in my field and as a person. The new people I have met have been supportive, loving and generous in giving of their time and resources to grow me and join me at my work and my spiritually journey. I am continuing to find new friends and neighbors on this earthly journey but more of my time is spent reading the bible, contemplating the words I am hearing and passing it on to others. I have completed over 317 posts, had 709 visitors and 1415 views of the website in almost a year. Time for God is but a blink of an eye for me an amazing year of looking more closely at the bible and the wonderful words in it. I am in the season of retirement, grandchildren and collecting a pension. But I am not done yet. There is still more to learn and do. Praising God and worshipping Him gives me hope and joy that we are citizens of heaven where the Lord Jesus Christ lives. And we are eagerly waiting for him to return as our savior.”
