Revelations 5: 11-14v 12 “in a loud voice they were singing” The lamb who was slain deserves to receive power, wealth, wisdom, strength, honor, glory, and praise.”
There where many angels, four living creatures and leaders surrounding the throne and singing praises to God and to the risen Christ. Ten thousand times ten thousand in a loud voice singing. The four living creatures said amen and the leaders bowed and worshiped.
What is the book of revelations about? Is it about the end of time? A prophecy of what is to come or a picture of the expectations of God and Jesus, the lamb?

Whatever it is , all the words in the bible are important. I have found bible studies where you look at a certain passage and read a commentary on your own or with a group have helped me understand and make sense of the stories and the historical events that make up this amazing book. That the more time you spend studying it the more you learn and grow in your faith. That some have the talent to remember passages and different parts of the bible to quote as needed and that I struggle with this. However, I have found that using the words you know and even a paraphrase of a story has a profound effect on your life and the lives of those around you. I have often used the words “wonderfully made” from Psalm 139, words from proverbs are in my living room( see the picture above). Also giving Gods words back to Him allow us to pray with confidence. In this passage the words that stand out to me are that “every creature” “was singing” “Amen” The image is clear, whether in the past, in the future, or now. Every creature should praise God.
Prayer: Holy God we praise your name, we sing hallelujah. To you be the glory, the honor, and power forever and ever. Amen.
