Colossians 1:1-14v 9 So we have not stopped praying for you since we first heard about you. We ask God to give you complete knowledge of His will and to give you spiritual wisdom and understanding.β
This letter from Paul written by him and Timothy is to a new group of believers in Colossi. Paul gives thanks to God for their faith and says he will continue to pray and is aware of the love for others that God has given them How you live with produce every kind of good fruit. Paul prayed also for strength so that they can have endurance and patience. He reminds them to be thankful and live in the light as we have been rescued from darkness by Jesus Christ.
It is true today that it is important to pray for each other. To know your strengths so that you can produce good fruit. Maybe you are good at singing, then spend time sharing that gift with others. Maybe you are good at cooking, at writing instructions, at learning new things, then do them for God and the rewards will be good. He will give you strength to keep going and the tools you need to keep going especially if we are thankful each step of the journey.

Prayer: Heavenly Father thank you for the time to pray, and the time to know you better, the patience you have for us and the strength to keep us motivated to do your work . Amen
