Colossians 1 :15-28 v 17 “He (Christ) existed before anything else, and He holds all creation together.”
Christ is the visible image of the invisible God. He existed before anything was created and is supreme over all creation. He existed before anything else, and He holds all creation together.” Christ is also the head of the Church. For God wanted them to know that the riches and glory of Christ are for you gentiles too.
I am on vacation. Meeting with friends and family I don’t see as much and enjoying different scenery from my everyday home. The wonders of creation, deer, bald eagles, seals, a sea otter. The salty smell of the sea air, rocky and sandy beaches to explore. New conversations as you catch up from years apart, sharing highs and lows of different lives. There is a connection between this different land, these different people. More than just a shared history. A connection that existed before time began. Christ who is there for all holding it all together. In the happy hello’s and the sad “see you later” there is comfort in knowing that Christ leads us all.
Prayer: Holy Father we thank you for joining us all together wherever we are, whoever we are with. Help us show your love to others and the riches ad glory of Christ that are for all. Amen.
