What now?

 Hebrews 13: 1-8, 15-16.v 8 “Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever.”

Love each other. Provide food and shelter to strangers. Remember those in prison, those being mistreated. Work at your marriage. Imitate the faith of leaders who have spoken the word to you. “Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever.” Do good things and share what you have with others. These are the things that please God.

Our world has been shaken up due to the pandemic and what we initially thought would be a minor upset over in a few months still today has us asking questions about the safety of large gatherings our kids as they are about to re start a new school year and how we are living our lives. Church attendance has declined 1/3^rd to ½ of pre pandemic levels according to different sources. There has been a drift away from small group participation. Changes have been made to all our lives so what now?

“Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever.” His message is the same. Love each other. Look after those in need, including your own spiritual beliefs, your close relationships and share it all. These are the things that please God.

Prayer: Heavenly Father as we seek to understand your word daily and to follow the teachings of Jesus help us along this new road of ways to worship and help others, sharing all we have united in your love of us. We thank you that Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever and helps us along this new road. Amen.
