Psalm 145: 1-5, 17-21 v 2”I will praise you every day; yes I will praise you forever.”
David, we know was very good at praising God. Even his wife was embarrassed by his dancing to God in the streets letting everyone know “Great is the Lord” v3 , v5 “I will meditate on your glorious splendor.” V6 “I will proclaim your greatness.” V21 “I will praise the Lord and may everyone on earth bless his holy name forever and ever.”
I am still on vacation in B.C., and it is snowing in the lower mainland whilst back in Ontario it is warm and sunny. I will praise His name! One of my grandchildren is sick again and they are running out of children’s Tylenol. I will meditate on your glorious splendor. Seniors are living in homes without any quality of life. Great is the Lord. And that is the thing. Despite the not so good things going on around us the hope we have in a “Lord who is righteous in everything He does” v 17, enables us to praise Him every day. Halleluiah!

Psalm 145 v 5
Prayer: Holy God who is kind to all who love Him, keeps close when we call on Him, hears our cries for help and rescues us, every day we praise your name. Amen.
