Partner with Jesus

I Corinthians 1: 1-9 v “God will do this, for He is faithful to do what He says, and He has invited you into partnership with His son Jesus Christ our Lord.”

You who have been called by God to be His own holy people. May God our father and the Lord Jesus Christ give you grace and peace. I thank God for you and for the gracious gifts He has given you. He enriched your Church with eloquent words and knowledge. You have the gifts you need. He will keep you strong. God will do this, for He is faithful to do what He says, and He has invited you into partnership with His son Jesus Christ our Lord.”

Having a partner lightens the load. Tasks are shared as well as skills so sometimes you can take on projects that you could not handle by yourself but with a partner in business or in life it is doable. There are also compromises to be met. Some one you live with might be best at night whilst you are a morning person. Sometimes your business partner may want to expand, and you are happy with the status quo. Negotiations must take place. With Jesus as our partner, with the gifts we have been given by Him, our journey is lighter, and we can do amazing things. It doesn’t mean that we never get angry, that we never get sad or lost or lonely. It means that God provides a way back through grace, to peace. “For He is faithful to do what He says, and He has invited you into partnership with His son Jesus Christ our Lord.”

“If you are faithful in little things, you will be faithful in large ones.” Luke 16 v 10

Prayer: Heavenly Father, thank you for your Son, Jesus Christ who partners with us in all we do in your name. Who gives us strength to be the best we can be and lightens our load. Amen
