Joyful

 Psalm 119: 1-8 v Joyful are those who obey His laws and search for Him with all their hearts.

Joyful people are honest. Follow instructions. Obey His laws. Walk only in His paths. Oh, how I wish that I always did those things. I should thank you for living your regulations. Please don’t give up on me!

This week I received a donation request package from the Canadian Red Cross. In it was a reusable bag actively supporting our planet by helping to reduce the use of plastics.  Genesis 2:15 “The Lord God took the man and put him in the Garden of Eden to work it and keep it.” ·

There was a card which said “It’s a good day to be happy!” ready to send to someone you know who might need a smile. Ephesians 4:32. Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.

There was also a gratitude journal and a thank you card with an envelope.  One of the quotes inside the journal was from H. Jackson Brown “Think big thoughts but relish small pleasures.” But when you pray, go into your room and shut the door and pray to your Father who is in secret. And your Father who sees in secret will reward you. Matthew 6.

Be honest with yourself today and be joyful.

Prayer: Holy God please don’t give up on me as I try and live my life with your rules and regulations in my heart. Amen
