Experience!

 2 Peter 1 : 16-21 v 19 “ Because of that experience, we have even greater confidence in the message proclaimed by the prophets.”

We were not making up cleaver stories. We saw His majestic splendor with our own eyes. We ourselves heard the voice from heaven when we were with Him on that mountain. “Because of that experience, we have even greater confidence in the message proclaimed by the prophets.” You must pay close attention to what the prophets said. Those prophets were moved by the Holy Spirit, and they spoke from God.”

How have you experienced God in your life this week?

I used to be bothered by other people telling their stories of their faith journey as I felt that I did not have one. I wasn’t an addict who found God and was able to change my life around. I grew up in a Christian family. I haven’t had cancer or another life changing medical problem. But I have had experiences that have led me to know Christ in a deeper way which is what a faith journey is about. The first thing I had to do to find my story was to take the time to look at my life. I didn’t have to make it up it was all there for me to see when I took the time to look.

Experiencing God moments in your day just takes the time to look. I saw a robin this week. A moment given to me by God to encourage me that spring is on the way.
