Paths

 Psalm 23v 3 “He renews my strength. He guides me along right paths, bringing honor to His name.”

The Lord is my shepherd; I have all that I need. He renews my strength. He guides me along right paths, bringing honor to His name.” My cup overflows with blessings. I will live in the house of the Lord forever.

I have just been away on vacation and have enjoyed time on a warm beach away from my computer and normal routines. I was worried that I did not spend as much time with my bible, that I did not attend my usual church time. That the important decisions I had involved answering the question today will I be sitting by the pool or on the beach? If God leads my path, then He led me there. I certainly feel renewed now that I am back. I had some wonderful moments with my family and enjoyed the natural beauty of the area and the many fish and birds. My cup overflowed with blessings. I had normal everyday conversations with those around me. I didn’t forget God but He showed me that starting a conversation with strangers is easier than you think, that relaxing once in a while is OK, and appreciating the world He made is a good thing too. He guides me along right paths. Even though this psalm is used often as reassurance to those grieving it is also a plan for the living , as we live in the house of the Lord forever, on earth and in heaven.

Prayer:  Heavenly Father thank you for the wonderful world in which we live and for the path that you guide us along here on earth and in heaven. Amen.
