Philippians 2: 5-11v 10 “That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth.”
You must have the same attitude that Christ Jesus had. He did not think He was equal to God, as something to cling to. He took the humble position as a slave, was born as a human being, humbled himself in obedience to God, died a criminal’s death. God elevated Him to the highest place of honor. That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth.” Every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the Glory of God the Father.
Attitudes are important. A feeling that is expressed in your actions. As simple as saying you love someone then giving them a hug. Yelling at someone them throwing something at them is another attitude that shows negative feelings. Saying you love someone then pushing them over shows that your attitude might not be the same as your words. That is the first thing we see in Jesus, his feelings and His actions are the same. He humbled himself to be born as a human being, into a regular family, not a rich and influential family and throughout His ministry He remained obedient to God. He often set aside time to be alone or with only a few close friends to pray, to make sure He was doing what God wanted. And what was God’s response? To elevate Him to the highest place of honor. That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth.” Our attitude to be the best we can be is to bow to Jesus. To bring our attitudes, just as they are humbly to God.

Let us bow our heads and pray; Heavenly Father we humbly pray for the right attitude today to go out into the world to share your love to others in Jesus’s name. Amen.
