My children say to me that I have favorites. That despite the example of past generations where boys were clearly better than girls, and the more modern culture of choice regarding gender bias, it is difficult not to have favorites. Our Heavenly Father knows the weaknesses of the human heart and therefore gives us His view. He has no favorites. He also says that we should love each other deeply with all our hearts. Not giving bigger pieces to some and smaller pieces to others but to love each other deeply with all our heart. Sometimes we make our faith journey more complicated than it has to be. Today love everyone deeply with all your heart.
Prayer: Heavenly Father who loves us all equally, having no favorites, open our hearts to share that amazing love to all we meet today and for eternity. Amen
