Psalm 8 v 3 “When I look at the night sky and see the work of your fingers- the moon and the stars you set in place.”
O Lord, our Lord, your majestic name fills the earth! You have taught children and infants to tell of your strength. When I look at the night sky and see the work of your fingers- the moon and the stars you set in place- what are mere mortals that you should think and care for them? You gave them charge of everything you made. O Lord our Lord, your majestic name fills the earth.

Psalm 8 v 4
I was driving home on Saturday and the moon appeared along the road just as in this picture. I looked it up and this is known as a Strawberry moon. How wonderful is our Lord! My youngest granddaughter loves the song “ zoom, zoom, zoom we are going to the moon” and all our family know the words to sing it to her and enjoy the huge smiles and clapping that occurs when it is finished. She teaches us about the simple pleasures in life. I have to be strong to throw her up in the air at the end of the song and catch her safely as she comes down to earth. Grandparents are a safety net for the young. Try and mention the Lords name today in a conversation as a thank you to Him for all He does.
Prayer: Heavenly Father thank you for the beautiful world you created for us to enjoy and be reminded of your care for us humans. O that your majestic name Lord should fill the earth. Amen.
