Hebrews 10: 11-14, 19-25v 24 “Let us think of ways to motivate one another to acts of love and good works.”
Under the old covenant the priest offers sacrifices day after day. But our high priest offered himself as a sacrifice for sins, good for all time. For by that one sacrifice, he made perfect those who are being made holy. By His death, Jesus opened a new and life-giving way through the curtain into the Most Holy Place. Let us hold tightly without wavering to the hope we affirm, for God can be trusted to keep His promises. Let us think of ways to motivate one another to acts of love and good works. Meeting together and encouraging one another.
Jesus’s early followers were called “The Way” as Jesus opened a way into the Most Holy Place of the temple by His death for us all. No longer is there the need for daily sacrifices of the blood of an animal to be clean. “For our guilty consciences have been sprinkled with Christ’s blood to make us clean. And out bodies have been washed with pure water.” (Hebrews 10 v 22b) So we must meet together and motivate one another to acts of love and good works.

Clean a shelf in your house for a manger scene. Offer food to the hungry and make sure those in need are on your gift list. Ideas can be found here if you need help.
Prayer: Heavenly Father as we thank you for sending your Son to make us clean open our hearts to the needs of the hungry, the poor and the widows in this world, near to us or in other countries in Jesus’ name. Amen.
What a BRILLIANT idea to include deserving places to all readers!
THANKS for including Sleeping Children.
