Join with your family to give to those who have less. I remember a story of an elderly lady who loved in a retirement home who collect all the unopened crackers that her fellow retirees did not eat when they had soup. She would save the up for a few days, then donate them to a local food bank. Look around at what you have and give what you can. Maybe it might just be your time, we all have something we can give to each other.
Below are a couple of examples:-

Deuteronomy 15:11 – For there will never cease to be poor in the land. Therefore I command you, ‘You shall open wide your hand to your brother, to the needy and to the poor, in your land.’

James 2:15-16 – If a brother or sister is poorly clothed and lacking in daily food, and one of you says to them, “Go in peace, be warmed and filled,” without giving them the things needed for the body, what good is that? So also faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead.
