1 Peter1: 17-23 v 22 “You were cleansed from your sins when you obeyed the truth, so now you must show sincere love to each other as brothers and sisters. Love each other deeply with all your heart.”
And remember that the Heavenly Father to whom you pray has no favorites. For you know that God paid a ransom to save you from the empty life you inherited from your ancestors. God chose Him as ransom long before the world began. You were cleansed from your sins when you obeyed the truth, so now you must show sincere love to each other as brothers and sisters. Love each other deeply with all your heart.
It is human nature to think we are the best that we know best and that we can decide who we like best. But that is not God’s way. This passage starts with the Heavenly Father, has no favorites. So, to be our best selves we must think about those we meet through the lens of no favorites. And then to show sincere love, deeply with all our heart. I am reminded of the image of the Grinch with a heart too small as some days it is difficult to see the good around me and in the world. It is good however to be reminded that because of God’s love for us our heart can expand and sincerely love and then go deeper not just with God but with those we serve. Love deeply today!

1 Peter 1v 21a
