Psalm 31: 1-5, 15-16 v 2 “Turn your ear to listen to me; rescue me quickly.”
O Lord, I have come to you for protection. Save me, for you do what is right. Turn your ear to listen to me; rescue me quickly. You are my rock and my fortress. Rescue me, Lord, for you are a faithful God. Rescue me from those who hunt me down relentlessly. In your unfailing love rescue me.
Our daily challenge is to do what is right in the eyes of God. To ignore the distractions of this world from which we need protection. To be secure in a fortress from those who hunt us down. To talk to God who will listen quickly because of His unfailing love and rescue us.

King David who wrote this psalm also asked, “Let you favor shine on your servant.” Look for God’s favor today when you serve Him.
Prayer: Almighty God who listens to our cry to rescue us quickly, let your favor shine on us today, in Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.
