Proverbs 9 1-6 v 6 “Stop being gullible and live. Start travelling the road to understanding”
“Wisdom has built her house” So often in our everyday struggles too much time is spent on worry about things we cannot control, about trying so hard to think what the right thing is to do, we do nothing.
In these verses from the Old Testament, we are reminded to start travelling the road to understanding. Learn more about God and His love for us and how to act as a Christian in the world today, now. Don’t be distracted by the TV, by video games that have no end, by the need to own just one more thing to be truly happy. Be content with what you have. In Proverbs 9 v 10 goes on the expand “The knowledge of the Holy One is understanding” v 12 “If you are wise, your wisdom will help you.”
Prayer: Holy One guide us in understanding your love for us, and therefore how to live in the world today. Amen.
