Psalm 34 v 8 “Taste and see that the Lord is good. Blessed is the person who takes refuge in Him.
It says at the introduction to this psalm that David wrote it when he was pretending to be insane so that he could escape from his enemies. This beautiful psalm showing a deep faith in God written at a terrible time in the life of the author.
Often a deep faith surfaces when we are troubled. The joy of Christ found in the discussion with another when their is a difference of opinion. When we are sick and only God knows the way forward and trusting that He has your back. When your deepest desire seems not to be possible, then it is.
God does not take a vacation. He is always with us. Trust in God today wherever you are, at home, on vacation, at work.
Prayer: Thank you Lord for always being there when we need you. Amen
