Ephesians 6: 10-20 v v 14 “So then take your stand! Fasten truth around your waist like a belt. Put on God’s approval as your breastplate.”
Paul was in prison when he wrote these words. Using Christian faith as a suit of armor he was able to preach even when in the worst circumstances. Paul felt safe and protected by his faith and able to continue to encourage others to “put on your shoes” and spread the good news.

Some years ago, during a bible study the discussion centered around getting to a point of having to make a stand. It is part of the Christian journey. If you truly believe you will come to a point often surrounded by some intense emotion where you have to decide what you believe. Paul found himself in dire circumstances and was able to still inspire others to follow Jesus.

Christian fellowship during COVID for me shifted to a Wednesday evening zoom meeting and I am discerning how to spend my Sunday time with Churches beginning to open for in person gatherings in September . I am asking myself where will I be on a Sunday morning? How best can I make a stand for truth and show Gods love to others? Where will you be?
Prayer: Lord God Almighty, thank you for being our armor and guide us to where you want us to be as we make a stand for you. Amen.
