Deuteronomy 4 1-2, 6-9. v 6 Keep them and do them; for that will be your wisdom and your understanding in the sight of the peoples, who, when they hear all these statutes, will say, ‘Surely this great nation is a wise and understanding people.
Following the 10 commandments as outlined in the Old Testament is meant to allow others to see that “we are a wise and understanding people”
Over the years the summer for me has been a chance to experience worship in a variety of places. Outside in the local park or when camping in provincial parks. One time in a small church in Scotland with my parents we doubled the size of the congregation. Whatever the setting praising God is amazing . Being made to feel welcome made me believe that “we are a wise and understanding people.”
Being guided by the words in the bible, by circumstances and by Christian friends along with spiritual practices such as regular prayer also help us to be a wise and understanding people.
Prayer: Heavenly Father guide us in all we do to follow your commandments to show others today how great you are. Amen
