Isaiah 53;4-12 v 12 …”.He poured out his life in death and He was counted with sinners. He carried the sins of many . He intercedes for those who are rebellious.”
He suffered and was beaten we thought by God. No he was wounded for our rebellious acts. He was crushed for our sins. He was like a sheep that is silent when its wool is cut off. He didn’t open His mouth.

I like to think I follow the rules, look both ways before I cross the road, say please and thank you. I haven’t killed anyone. However when at work a few years ago a colleague said to me after we met with our manager. Why do you have to have a different opinion all the time? Was I that much of a rebel? I went on a mission trip. For the first couple of weeks adjusting to all the changes was hard. Was I having ANY fun? Then someone took my picture. I had a broad grin on my face as I was helping a young boy with a disability to sit up.
God and good can be found in our suffering and rebellion . He will intercede for you. So challenge the injustices you see and find joy in difficult situations. God is right there with you.
Prayer: Mighty God give me the courage to stand up for what I believe in knowing that you will intercede for me. Amen
This is such an awesome post! Thank you for this. Susan
