Mark 10: 35-45 v 45 “It is the same way with the Son of Man. He didn’t come so that others could serve him. He came to serve and to give his life as a ransom for many people.”
In the game of tennis to serve is an advantage. To hold serve, and to break serve are good things. If we are to follow Jesus, we must follow His example and serve others. His is not a game of back and forth with a winner and a looser but a consistent play, sharing as a partner every day life, connecting with all where they are . As James and John were told “Whoever wants to become great among you will be a slave for everyone.”
Prayer: Almighty God with humble hearts we look to serve you and those around us everyday. In Jesus name we pray. Amen
