Daniel 12:1-3 v v3 “Those who are wise will shine like the brightness of the horizon. Those who lead many people to righteousness will shine like the stars forever and ever.”
Daniel gives a vivid picture of the rewards of a faithful Christian life, for those rich in faith and advice they will be “bright like the horizon.” Leaders who lead others to faith will “shine like the stars forever and ever.”
Jesus also said “let your light shine in front of people. Then they will see the good that you do and praise your Father in heaven” in Matthew 5 v 16
Sometimes it is hard to do the right thing in our everyday lives but if you have ever spoken about God to an interested stranger or prayed with someone and received a “yes” answer to your request your light in heaven is starting to shine brighter.
Holy Father thank you for your light that shines on all, to allow us to share your love with others, in Jesus name we pray. Amen
