Hallelujah!

Acts 10: 34-43 v 41 ‘We were those who ate and drank with Him after He rose from the dead.”

God shows no favoritism. The good news is that there is peace for all though Jesus Christ. They put Him to death by hanging Him on a cross, but God raised Him to life on the third day. We were those who ate and drank with Him after He rose from the dead.” And we were ordered to preach everywhere that Jesus is the one appointed by God to be the judge of all. That everyone who believes in Him will have their sins forgiven through His name.

This week one of my husbands’ cousins had a baby girl. Our family message board was busy with the good news. Due to a couple of weddings this summer, good news,  I will be meeting friends from the UK in Western Canada more good news to celebrate.

The greatest good news we celebrate today. With ham and scalloped potatoes, with the easter bunny and hunting for eggs. We remember that Christ died and rose again and ate with his disciples. The unimaginable happened like eggs from a bunny. And the good news that our sins can be forgiven and we are born again like a chicken from an egg, into a new life, living and growing with the love of Jesus Christ as an example of how to live this new life.

Hallelujah. Praise God. God is good all the time, all the time, God is good! Amen
