Family fun usually means not working and sometimes doing chores around the home are considered work However, fun can be had even weeding the garden. Make sure everyone has the right gear for the job, hats and gloves, and a pail to collect the weeds. Take a section of the garden and all do the same patch , talk, tell jokes, sing and take breaks together sharing snacks and drinks. Set a time limit, from 15 minutes, to an hour depending on the age of your helpers.
