Children of God

Galatians 3: 23-29 v 26 For you are all children of God through faith in Christ Jesus.

Before the way of faith in Christ there was the law. The Old Testament acting as a guardian until Christ came. Now you are all children of God through faith in Christ Jesus. We are all made new like putting on new clothes. There is no longer Jew of gentile, slave or free, male or female. You are his heirs.

Its summertime. Children are enjoying the longer evenings and warmer weather to play outside. Weather splashing in a bowl of water, playing with a hose, in a pool or at a lake. Adults have fun watching and remembering as the children splash themselves and splash those around them and laugh. The joys of summer. Can we all be children again? Yes, we can, Christ has come. We are all made new. So, whatever you are doing today as a child of God, smile and with childlike joy love all who are around you as you follow in the legacy of Christ.
