Luke 12: 32-40 v 37 Blessed are those servants whom the master finds awake when He comes.”
Jesus was teaching his disciples about how to live the best life on this earth. First, He says “don’t be afraid” “Your Father is pleased to give you the Kingdom.” God wants us to live with Him, put your fears for the day aside. If you are worried about the “things “you have, sell them. Give the money to those who have nothing. Make a treasure for yourself in heaven that never looses its value.

People can steal our possessions; moths can destroy our nice things. They can’t however touch our joy, our love for God and the deep-down peace that that brings. Be ready to receive the Lord when He comes. Just like a servant who immediately opens the door when you knock, who stay awake so that when the master comes, they are ready.
Because you are grounded in God and not in the things of this world, share the heart treasures of love, peace and joy with those around you today.
Prayer: Heavenly Father, thank you for loving us and enable us to show your love or peace or joy to those around us today. Sustain us to be ready for your Kingdom when it comes. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.
