Psalm 29 v 4 “The voice of the Lord is powerful; the voice of the Lord is majestic.”
Psalm 29 written by David is a poem about the mighty power of God’s voice. Honor and worship the Lord in the splendor of His holiness. The voice of the Lord echoes above the sea, thunders, is powerful, majestic, and shatters the cedars of Lebanon. The voice of the Lord strikes with bolts of lightning, makes the barren wilderness quake, twists mighty oaks. Everyone shouts “Glory” The Lord gives His people strength and blesses them with peace.
David realizes in this psalm the power of God. How great it is. It took me going on a three month mission trip to realize how big God is. To understand that He rules over everything. That His voice is powerful in all circumstances. Our job is to give Him the glory and he gives us strength and peace.
Enjoy this singing of psalm 29 and remind yourself how loud the voice of God is compared to the storms in your life today and join in praising Him and He will give you peace. https://youtu.be/PbsbBq-q2D8
Prayer: Almighty King open our ears so that we can hear your voice above the storms of our lives. That the thunder and the lightening are equal to your voice in our hearts as we ask for the strength to continue to worship you in all we do. Amen.
