Christ is Risen

After the highs and lows of Holy Week we have finally made it to Easter Sunday, to the reason for the celebration of Easter.

 Colossians 3 1-4 v 2 “Think about the things of heaven, not the things of earth.”

Since we all have been raised to new life with Christ, spend time today in praise and in prayer the things of heaven.

As you search for eggs, a symbol of new life and new beginnings, be thankful for the wonderful new life you have been given.

As you sit around your table enjoy your meal with intentional thoughts of where everything came from, who has been a part of the process of helping to put food on your plate. You are not alone, from seed producer, to planter, to transporter, to packer, to stacker of the shelves. You live in community with others, with creation, with God. Hallelujah!
