Reflection

I have been twice on mission trips, which required me to leave my family, but God surrounded me with good Christian people to help me. Without the everyday pressures of work and family on a mission trip working for God in all you do seems easier to do. Back at home I often forget that God is in charge and has the best plan for me and those around me. Today I am reminded that I always need God’s help, to call out to Him, to have faith that He will answer my prayers, and that in Him there is help and comfort.

Prayer

Heavenly Father thank you today for the comfort you bring when we listen closely to your word, even when things get messy in our lives. Open our hearts and minds to give generously towards others as you give to us. Amen.
