How to make choices

Acts 1v 23-26 v 24 “Then they prayed, “Lord, you know everyone’s thoughts. Show us which of these two you have chosen”

After Judas betrayed Jesus and died the apostles looked for another person to replace him. They felt the ideal candidate should have been a follower for the entire time Jesus was ministering on earth. They found two candidates who met the criteria. They then prayed “Show us which of these two you have chosen.” They drew names and Matthias was chosen. A simple process that can be used today to guide us on our Christian journey. Discuss the criteria, find who or what fits, pray about it, draw a name, or decide the best option and move on.

Prayer: Lord guide us in our daily lives to discuss with other believers, find direction in the bible and move forward on the road you have chosen for us. Amen
