King?

John 18:33-37 v 34 Jesus replied, ” Did you think of that yourself, or did others tell you about me?”

In this passage Pilate , who represented Roman rule, asked Jesus if He was the King of the Jews. Jesus response to that question is written above. Pilate ultimately agreed to have Jesus crucified.

What would your answer be to Jesus if He said those words to you today? Have you found a deep personal desire to have Jesus as your King? Or has someone told you about Jesus? We all have to decide who Jesus is and to choose to follow Him and to journey with others to learn more about Him and His kingdom that is not of this world, has an origin outside this world, and is grounded in truth.

Heavenly Father, Thank you for sending your Son as a true example of how we all should be. Amen
